Broccoli 

There is soooo much I could say today about our precious planet 🌍 but I want to say this, simply…. our survival depends on whether or not we decide to put nature first and protect biodiversity. There is nothing more important because everything is connected- if one thing in the cycle is broken, everything breaks with it- whether a decline in bees or fish, degraded soils from unsustainable farming (we need healthy soils for food!!) or plastic choking up our oceans. It is all one massive chain- and we won’t be able to escape the consequences of pretending we can just go on without addressing everything we have already put at risk 🥴🥴🥴 Ending our reliance on fossil fuels is a good start (Governments and people who have the opportunity to invest in Green Energy ENTER THE CHAT NOW PLZ) Changing the way we think about fashion and our addiction to new clothes would be another one (where the hell do I start with this- please Google the environmental implications of fashion 🤢) So would making small changes to our diet and eating a little bit less meat (a sickening amount of deforestation to clear for grazing etc and that’s just the beginning) Nature sustains us and keeps us alive but doesn’t have a voice. So we have so speak up for it today and every day. Thank YOU for all that you already do for our Planet. Happy  #EarthDay  🌲🌳🍄🌾🌻🌸🌎

So grateful! For the chance to sing, create music and make a living from it, to collaborate with artists and producers I love, for my incredible fans, for my crew, my beautiful son… all I want to do is make him proud. I will never take this life for granted. Some people will want to kill your dream and hope you stay in the shadows. They don’t want you to succeed. That’s when you have to go out and radiate the most … I was so happy to wear this custom Alberta Ferretti ❤️‍🔥 Thank you for an epic evening  ‪@brits‬

I am overwhelmed with gratitude to be the recipient of Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation Conservation Award (even if I was surprised while on a fieldtrip to the Rainforest!). To follow in the footsteps of previous winners and my all time heroes Dr Jane Goodall and Sir David Attenborough feels surreal to be honest. This is one of the world’s most prestigous conservation awards, and I will not waste this incredible endorsement of my activism. As many of you know, (not least because you come with me and spur me on!) I’ve been on this journey for a number of years. And as you’ll also know, I have often struggled with my legitimacy proposing solutions for one of the greatest challenges we’ve ever experienced. I thought who am I to offer solutions to mend our fragmented relationship with the beautiful biosphere that sustains us. But at some point I realised the people we elect and pay to do this stuff, well they often don’t turn up. If we don’t take action, who will?

Thanks to your support and the mandate that you give me to speak up and out, I have built my confidence. From corals to rainforest, I have had the opportunity to stand alongside and highlight the work of some of the most amazing earth defenders we have. Now there’s no stopping me! At least until we get that Perfect World.
